Flex-office space Kiln Holladay opens at historic Cottonwood Mall location
Lehi-based flex-office and coworking space developer Kiln has announced the opening of Kiln Holladay, a 52,000-square-foot workspace and lifestyle hub in Holladay Hills, a mixed-use redevelopment located in Holladay.
Kiln Holladay, already being used by a mix of teams, entrepreneurs, creatives and business leaders, features premium offices, meeting and event space and amenities.
“Kiln Holladay gives companies a smart alternative to long-term office leases,” said Kyle Kilcomons, vice president of marketing at Kiln. “Our flexible model lets teams manage costs, space up or down as needs change and grow wisely — all while enjoying the lifestyle that makes Utah so special. We’re thrilled to welcome the Holladay business community.”
Holladay Hills is a 58-acre redevelopment on the site of the old Cottonwood Mall, which was Utah’s first major indoor shopping mall. Closed for many years, the structure was demolished, a project completed in 2008 to make way for the new development. Developed by Woodbury Corp., Holladay Hills is a mixed-use project that offers living spaces, dining and shopping options and entertainment space along with walking trails, central plazas and a park for gathering.
Kiln Holladay features customizable studio suites with private meeting rooms, dedicated offices and flexible layouts. Kiln’s ecosystem spans open seating, resident desks, private offices, executive suites and custom studios, giving entrepreneurs and growing teams the ability to scale within a community purpose-built for networking, talent acquisition, partnership and wellness. Kiln Holladay has already attracted companies, including T-Mobile, Intuit, Penn Mutual and Assos.
“Designing Kiln Holladay has been about blending form and function, offering teams an inspiring, flexible environment that reflects the natural beauty and vitality of this area,” said Leigh Radford, co-founder and creative director of Kiln. “This is our grandest location yet, and we can’t wait to see how everyone uses it.”
“We believe that Kiln is the best at what they do and will be a strong anchor to the overall Holladay Hills development,” said McKinnon Woodbury, vice president of development at Woodbury Corp. “We are thrilled to have Kiln open and see them as an ambassador of Holladay Hills as we continue to bring in desired tenants to the project.”
Kiln now has coworking locations across Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon and Utah.
