• Ken Garff Automotive Group has relocated Ken Garff Chevrolet to 1021 S. 500 E., next to Ken Garff Ford, in American Fork. The dealership features hundreds of new and used cars. It was built on nine acres of land with 57,000 square feet of work area. This area contains 34 service bays and a 15-car service drive. The dealership also has a 20,000-square-foot body shop, which includes a full-service collision repair center. Other amenities at the new location include five outside charging stations, a 16-seat theater and a children’s play area. Customers also can quickly get maintenance or repair rates by using the drive-through estimate service.
BANKING
• America First Credit Union, Riverdale, announced it will launch the America First Credit Union Innovation Center in June. It will be in City Creek Center in downtown Salt Lake City. The center will not serve as a traditional branch, but a collaborative hub to showcase the latest innovative solutions and give members and consumers a greater voice in shaping how they want to be served in the future, the company said. America First will test multiple channel experiences to gain real-time feedback and use the insight to implement experience enhancements across its member base and within its 116 branch locations. Solution partners for the project include Adrenaline, Antuar, BNA Consulting, Buffalo Pacific, Cisco, City Creek Center, Diebold, Downstream, Financial Town, Glory Global Solutions, HKS Architects, MX, MultiTaction, Okland Construction and Taubman, among others. At various times, representatives from the companies will be onsite to present on the technologies included as part of the Innovation Center. The credit union also announced its has opened a branch at 3151 W. Kilby Road, Jeremy Branch. It is the fourth branch to open in 2016, for a total of 117 branches serving Utah and Nevada. The Jeremy Ranch branch will be led by branch manager Nate Hathaway. Hired at age 16 as a student trainee, Hathaway was promoted throughout the ranks to lead teller, then loan officer. In July 2014, he was hired as a service center lead teller at the Centerville Pages Lane branch, then in March 2015 was promoted to assistant branch manager of the Kaysville Bowman’s branch.
• Utah First Credit Union, Salt Lake City, has hired Steve Fifield as vice president of corporate development. Fifield has more than 30 years of experience in the industry, working for Goldenwest Credit Union and, most recently, Cyprus Credit Union.
CONSTRUCTION
• Sunroc Building Materials, Lindon, has opened a facility at 700 W. 100 S., Heber. It is the company’s 10th location. It will offer lumber, windows, millwork, trusses, insulation, timbers, siding, hardware, decking, and railing materials. The Heber location will be managed by Steve Wilmoth, a building materials industry veteran who has been with Sunroc Building Materials since 2005. Wilmoth comes to Heber from his position as location manager at the Salt Lake City Sunroc Building Materials facility.

• Extra Space Storage Inc., Salt Lake City, has announced that its board of directors has declared a quarterly dividend of 78 cents per share on the company’s common stock for the 2016 second quarter. The dividend is payable June 30 to stockholders of record June 15.
GOVERNMENT
• Utah Attorney General Sean Reyes has appointed Assistant Attorney General Kaye Lynn Wootton as deputy director of the Medicaid Fraud Control Unit. She has been with the unit for five years. Wootton began her career as a registered nurse over 30 years ago and has a master’s degree in nursing and a B.S. degree in business administration. She obtained her Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Utah in 2011. Prior to becoming an attorney, she worked in hospital, home health, education and pharmaceutical research settings. She owned and operated a successful home health agency for 12 years and sold the company to Integrated Health Services (IHS), where she worked as a regional vice president over Utah and Colorado operations.
• Salt Lake County has hired Noella Sudbury as the Criminal Justice Advisory Council coordinator. Sudbury replaces David Litvack, who resigned to accept a position in the Salt Lake City mayor’s administration. Sudbury previously worked as a Utah Supreme Court law clerk, as a Salt Lake legal defender representing indigent defendants in criminal appeals, and at Zimmerman Jones Booher LLC as an appellate attorney. The council advises the county on criminal and social justice issues and is composed of members of the law enforcement, prosecutorial, defense, corrections, courts and human services communities.
HEALTHCARE
• Fresh Medical Lab-oratories Inc., doing business as ProLungdx, has appointed Dr. John C. Ruckdeschel as a director on the company’s board of directors. Ruckdeschel is an oncologist with a career-long focus on thoracic malignancies and lung cancer. He previously was on the staff at Albany Medical College, was the chief executive officer and director of Moffitt Cancer Center, was chief executive officer and director of the Karmanos Cancer Institute and later joined the Nevada Cancer Institute before becoming the medical director of clinical oncology at Intermountain Healthcare in Salt Lake City. He is a a current member of the Medical Advisory Board of ProLungdx. The company also announced that Dennis Tulane has resigned from the board of directors for personal reasons.
• OneSource Regulatory, Salt Lake City, as appointed Robert Merrill as managing partner. A co-founder of the company, Merrill will develop strategies and tactics that keep the businesses compliant without sacrificing speed or flexibility. He previously was president of Searchlight Advisors, a life sciences compliance consulting services company. Merrill’s education includes a B.S. in biology from Utah State University.
• Davis County has joined the Coast2Coast Rx Card program. It allows Davis County residents — regardless of income, age or health status — to save on the cost of their prescriptions. This program has saved cardholders throughout the nation an average of 65 percent in 2015 on the cost of prescription drugs. Residents wanting to participate in the free prescription discount program can find cards at all Davis County library branches, most local pharmacies and online at www.coast2coastrx.com/counties/ut/davis. The Utah Association of Counties endorses the program and eight Utah counties are participating in the program. Anyone in Utah can use the card, which includes over 60,000 drugs in its formulary.

• Dynatronics Corp., Cottonwood Heights, has announced that Larry K. Beardall, executive vice president of marketing and strategic planning, has left the company’s management team, effective June 3. Beardall also ceased to serve as a member of the company’s board of directors. He joined Dynatronics in 1986 as vice president of sales and marketing. He served as a board member since 1986. Dynatronics also announced two new sales managers. Shane James was hired as eastern regional sales manager. He has more than 18 years of experience in the industry at DJO Global and Chattanooga Group. His responsibilities have included managing sales representatives and independent distributors. Chris Ramsay was hired as director of international sales. He previously established a global training program for sales representatives at DJO Global and Chattanooga Group. Over the past 10 years, he led the technical sales support effort globally. Kelvyn H. Cullimore Sr., the company’s founder and former chairman and president, will transition his responsibilities to Ramsay over the remainder of the year and retire Dec. 31. He has been with the company on a part-time basis the past few years with duties that included managing the company’s international efforts.

• The Buckner Company, Salt Lake City, has unveiled a charity initiative, Buckner Cares, and with partner EMI recently donated funds for a wheelchair ramp to help Shelly Gallegos, an employee whose family has faced several major family challenges. With help from People Builders Utah, a nonprofit that provides wheelchair ramps for local families, volunteers from The Buckner Company recently constructed the ramp. A fund for physical therapy also was established when colleagues at Buckner learned that Gallegos’ daughter Whittney had to discontinue therapy as funds ran out. Buckner employees had raised $3,000 and partnered with Neuroworx to get her 28 therapy sessions. Donations were also received from Principal, Premier Access and SelectHealth.

• Salt Lake City recently was presented the Employer of the Year award by the Women in Transportation Seminar Northern Utah Chapter at its annual gala. Workfront has been listed in that quadrant for five consecutive years. Gartner evaluates vendors on 15 weighted criteria based on their relative strengths in the market. • Solutionreach Inc., Lehi, has been selected as a finalist for Red Herring’s Top 100 North America award, a list honoring the year’s most promising private technology ventures from the North American business region.
