• TAB Bank, based in Ogden, has extended a $3.5 million ledgered working capital facility to an unidentified North American transportation service provider, a Canadian-based company with a network of less-than-truckload, full truckload and cross-dock operations spanning western Canada to central California. The logistics company sought a new banking partner after its previous financing company decided to reduce its portfolio in the transportation sector.

• Extra Space Storage Inc., a Salt Lake City-based owner and operator of self-storage facilities, has announced that its operating partnership, Extra Space Storage LP, priced a public offering of $800 million aggregate principal amount of 4.95 percent senior notes due 2033. The notes were priced at 99.739 percent of the principal amount and will mature on Jan. 15, 2033. The offering was expected to close on or about Aug. 8. The operating partnership intends to use the net proceeds from this offering to repay amounts outstanding from time to time under its lines of credit and its commercial paper program, and for other general corporate and working capital purposes, including funding potential acquisition opportunities. • Utah has the lowest overall rate of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) among states, according to research analyzed by Opera Beds from 2018 to 2023. The Utah rate is 3.7 percent. • Associates from 12 Utah Walmart stores recently visited the state’s first farm-based charter school, Roots High School, and presented a $20,000 grant.
