BANKING
• Bank of Utah, based in Ogden, has promoted Kelly Hale to senior vice president, business development team lead. She is succeeded by Jared Sellers, who has been appointed as commercial lending team lead at the bank’s Orem branch. Hale will oversee and advance the bank’s business development strategy. She will work closely with the bank’s sales force to identify growth opportunities, strengthen client relationships and support overall organizational expansion. Hale has four decades of banking experience, including 25 years with Bank of Utah. She began her career as a teller, serving in that role for 10 years before transitioning into commercial lending, where she has worked for more than 30 years. Sellers will assume leadership of the commercial lending team in Orem, ensuring seamless service and continuity for clients and team members. He has more than 20 years of commercial lending experience and eight years of management experience. Sellers has extensive experience in commercial and business lending, including C&I, CRE and SBA 7(a) and 504 lending, managing loan requests up to $70 million. His education includes earning a bachelor’s degree from the University of Utah. Bank of Utah also has appointed four new banking managers and one new branch manager across four locations. Banking managers lead daily branch operations and support clients with their accounts, transactions and everyday banking needs. Branch managers help clients explore financial options and connect them with lending, business and specialty banking solutions. Ryan Feltner has been named banking manager of the Bountiful branch. He has a diverse professional background in military service, banking and leadership development. A retired U.S. Air Force veteran, Feltner served in both the Signals Intelligence and Training Management career fields. He later spent two years as a banker at KeyBank, where he developed a foundation in customer service and financial operations. Feltner joined Bank of Utah in May 2025 as a customer service representative. Brynlee Watts has been named banking manager of the Brigham City branch. Watts has three years of client service experience in the financial services industry. Marci Hansen has been named banking manager of the Orem branch. She most recently served as a customer service manager at Bank of Utah, giving her a deep understanding of the bank’s operations, culture and commitment to community banking. Before joining Bank of Utah, she held roles at Wells Fargo as a branch operations coordinator and at Mountain West Credit Union as a financial services representative, gaining extensive experience in sales leadership and management. Before her corporate banking experience, Hansen spent 15 years gaining an entrepreneurial background. Mason Brown has been named banking manager of the Lindon branch. Brown most recently served as branch manager at Bank of Utah’s Orem branch. He has also served as assistant manager at Atomic Credit Union in Ohio, senior loan officer at Mountain America Credit Union and finance manager at Cedar City Motor Co. Quinn McClune has been appointed branch manager of the Layton branch. McClune has five years of experience in the financial services industry, with a background in underwriting and client service. Before joining the Bank of Utah, McClune worked at Zions Bank, where he held roles as a commercial real estate underwriter, SBA underwriter and small-business underwriter, gaining experience supporting business clients and in complex lending processes. He also served as a wealth management operations analyst at Morgan Stanley. McClune holds a bachelor’s degree from Utah State University’s Jon M. Huntsman School of Business. The Bountiful and Lindon branches will retain their current leadership teams, including existing branch managers Wendy Gray and Jason Steenstra. McClune will work alongside Brian Paniagua, who will serve as banking manager of the Layton location.
• Chartway Credit Union, based in Virginia and with members in Utah, Virginia and Texas, recently held its 67th annual meeting, where Chartway elected by acclamation its board of directors. After the meeting, the board convened to establish its officers for 2026. The group of officers includes Utah-based Jared Perry and Lara Shields.
CONSTRUCTION
• HKS, a California-based interdisciplinary global design firm with an office in Salt Lake City, has promoted Joshua Rushton to vice president. This rank promotion recognizes his leadership, dedication to design excellence, and continued contributions to the firm and its clients. HKS also has promoted Aarthi Saravanakumar to job captain, Brock Terwilleger to Architect II, and Madison Merwine to Architect I.

• Biomerics, a Salt Lake City-based vertically integrated contract manufacturer for the interventional medical device market, has appointed Tyler Reed as president of its Micro Metals Division. Reed is responsible for managing commercial, engineering and operational excellence deployment across areas such as customer satisfaction, delivery performance, manufacturing automation, cost optimization and facility performance for the Micro Metals Division. Founded in 1994, Biomerics supplies 20 of the top 30 medical device OEMs globally, providing engineering design and development services; technology transfer manufacturing services; and contract manufacturing services for medical device components, subassemblies and finished medical devices. It has nine locations in the United States, two in Costa Rica and one in the Dominican Republic.
