GreenArrow Holdings Inc., an advanced transportation infrastructure company based in East Chicago, Illinois, has acquired The Narwhal Group, a specialized provider of transportation products and services based in Salt Lake City.
GreenArrow said the acquisition is designed to significantly expand its portfolio within the intelligent transportation systems and infrastructure networking sectors.
“As the demand for smarter, more connected transportation infrastructure grows, the integration of Narwhal Group’s technical expertise will allow GreenArrow to offer more robust, end-to-end solutions for public and private infrastructure projects,” GreenArrow said in a release announcing the acquisition.

Founded in 2010, The Narwhal Group specializes in intelligent transportation systems, including road weather and highway operations products. It provides software, hardware and consulting services for infrastructure and maintenance.
GreenArrow Holdings, backed by CAI Capital Partners, focuses on maintaining and installing transportation electrical systems, including traffic signals, streetlights and intelligent transportation systems. In addition to The Narwhal Group, it has made recent acquisitions in Florida and California.
