Bank of Utah has opened its annual My Utah Photo Contest, now in its seventh year. The contest runs to July 6 at 11:59 p.m. and invites both amateur and professional photographers to submit their best outdoor landscape or activity photos to share what Utah means to them.
Participants can capture and share photos that answer the question: “My Utah is ____.” Whether it’s majestic mountain ranges, vibrant red rocks or powdery ski slopes, the contest celebrates Utah’s local photographers, natural beauty and unique culture, the company said.
“The My Utah Photo Contest is one of our favorite traditions. We’re amazed by the creativity and talent of entrants. It’s inspiring to see how the contest has helped photographers gain recognition and take the next step in their careers.”

First Place: $500 + Featured on Bank of Utah billboards + Front cover feature in Bank of Utah’s Annual Photo Contest calendar.
Second Place: $300 + Featured in Bank of Utah’s Annual Photo Contest calendar.
Third Place: $200 + Featured in Bank of Utah’s Annual Photo Contest calendar.
Nine honorable mentions will also be chosen and featured in Bank of Utah’s Annual Photo Contest calendar.Best in Show Award: The entrant with the top votes wins $150 + Back cover feature in Bank of Utah’s Annual Photo Contest calendar.
Bank of Utah will announce winners July 13 and spotlight select photos in the bank’s “Feature Fridays” series on Instagram. All winners, honorable mentions and the Best in Show recipient will receive complimentary copies of Bank of Utah’s Annual Photo Contest calendar to share with friends and family.
